Since making music it was always my dream to have my music on a show, in a game, on radio. Of course it’s only a dream until you connect with the right people and team. Rep indie was the first course I ever took to enhance my skills and I’m so glad I did it. Deraj is such a great dude who has always shared gems. The fact that he brings in real reps and agency people just shows that he is not afraid to share his connects and resources even if he isn’t directly tied to any of the music being sent. Because of rep indie I actually have sync deals with agencies I would have never known about. Thankful for the community and what it all stands for. I get excited for people who are joining for the first time.

Trying to figure out what was next for me as an artist, I felt stuck and lost. Definitely disappointed and alone too, like I was doing something wrong. Had to really decide what was next for me as an artist, to walk away from this dream of mine or to take the risk and go all in. Being part of Rep Indie has been life-changing; it’s so cool to see a community of creatives supporting each other. It gave me the encouragement that I needed.

Making this kind of money doesn’t happen by accident but by being mentored by the right kind of people. This community and course are life changing. It’s not just about the music but about the right kind of guidance and mindset work. Love how Deraj and the whole community is all about uplifting each other and staying mentally sharp. The strategies here and guest speakers are A1. This community really motivated me and I learned so much from everyone in here. Rep Indie is definitely changing lives for the good and it’s the reason why I still keep coming back and learning more from everyone. Deraj thank you for your motivation and guidance!

The start of 2022 was when things changed for me! With the help of rep indie, I was able to learn alongside a community of artists who cared for and challenged one another. I was no longer making music by myself because I was collaborating. I was no longer making a few singles a year because I became more consistent in my output and generated more ideas. I was no longer letting music sit on a hard drive because I was sharing it with agencies and supervisors. I finally started to develop systems that made sense for my music career. I’m grateful for this community! I finally feel like my music has purpose AND direction!

It’s honestly a life changing group. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to get serious about building there sync career and join a supportive community who want’s to see you win.

I dealt with the music industry for years. I stepped away from being an artist as a priority. I allowed myself to focus on the business and also the executive side. Rep.Indie allowed me to put into practice some of the sync things I was studying and showed me how to leverage those focuses.

My journey started as a student of the sync industry; I spent the first year and a half studying the business and structure of sync music. In the second year, I had many tracks accepted but no placements for nearly a year. During that time, I experimented with various genres and sync styles, thinking I could do it all. I later joined Rep.Indie to grow my network and explore new areas of learning and development. Life after joining Rep.Indie brought new business relationships, greater confidence, and deeper insight into communicating with supervisors. I gained recognition for my improved skills and eventually landed my first placement in a movie.

When I first joined rep.indie, the community was small and intimate, which made it feel personal and supportive from day one. Deraj was incredibly helpful and hands-on—he took time to answer questions, give thoughtful feedback, and genuinely cared about each artist’s growth. I never felt lost or overlooked. Thanks to rep.indie, I finally have clarity, confidence, and a real path forward in my music career.

I was definitely interested in sync watching Deraj’s journey, we were personal friends, I booked him and brought him to my city.  I remembered when he pivoted to sync but I didn’t know what that meant.  A few years later I noticed he was in movies and big ads.  So I took him to lunch during a trip to Florida and he laid out what was happening and the community.  I joined, took the modules, learned, starting attended conferences at his guidance, built my relationships, and eventually landed rep agreements and my first placement.

Life after joining rep.indie has been both challenging and purposeful. It’s not just about checking the box of creating songs for sync. It’s about becoming. We’re growing as artists, shaping a sound, and building a brand that has the potential to stand alongside other brands. The work stretches us, but it also grounds us in purpose. We’re not only creating music, we’re creating opportunities for partnership, impact, and longevity. It won’t be long before the sync world says hello… to Hello Bro.

Always had a passion to do music but ran into many challenges trying to do music on my own terms. With a wife and kids, I lost the desire to do the whole streams, merchandise, tour, and road life. I was introduced to rep.indie and it absolutely changed the game for me! Deep down I always wondered how artist got their music played on tv and films. Ive watched YouTube and even interacted with a supervisor or two but it took 7 months to receive a no. Why? I didn’t have strategy, community, resources and the coaching I’ve received being apart the rep.indie community! “Hello Bro” is proudly getting 10+ songs repped by several different agencies because of being plugged. Soon landing our first couple placements and beyond because of this community!

Rep.Indie is a great community of talented individuals. The level of excellence is pushing me toward improvement in areas that I have lacked in. I am definitely more focused on staying organized.

I’ve signed with multiple agencies, learned how to stand out from the crowd within the sync community, gained valuable artist, music, supervisor, producer, and songwriter contacts!

Before Rep. Indie i just made music that I thought peopled wanted to hear. Little did I know that music can have a purpose, and that purpose can be very lucrative if you know the proper way to approach it. This is a game changer! Super blessed to have been refered to the platform.

After joining rep.indie, everything started to feel more intentional. Instead of just grinding in the dark, I had access to community, resources, and strategy that actually amplified my efforts. The wins got bigger, the losses didn’t feel as heavy, and I wasn’t moving alone anymore! For real I’m part of a collective that understood the vision and I wasn’t convincing people that this was real! It gave me the confidence to focus on creating, knowing the business side had real structure and support behind it.

Joining See&Hear was a great decision, and having Deraj as an example makes stuff way easier. He relates to you at your level because he’s been there, and having someone whose made so many moves in the space reach back to try and pull some of us up with him is a rare case. There’s so much information in this community and so much talent and love, there’s nothing like it. Sync can be a long road but knowing you’re not walking it alone makes all the difference.

I have cooked up more music than I ever have. I have pushed myself as a writer and producer. I have signed with 3 agencies since joining and connected with a music supervisor in Chicago. I’ve learned that there are other ways to be successful.

Since joining Rep.indie, it’s helped me better hone my trajectory and strategy around sync, approaching agencies, approaching supervisors and ways to strengthen my musical catalog to balance music that’s sync ready with also music I can regularly promote as an artist. I’ve gotten 3 agency deals since joining and am looking forward to that first placement!
